Establishment and Maintenance of a Black Poplar Mother Plantation
On the outskirts of Dejtár, a 1.5-hectare black poplar stool bed was established under the LIFE Danube Floodplains programme to produce propagation material. We joined the project in its second phase.
We planted 2,000 cuttings and carried out maintenance on several occasions: mulching the inter-rows and precise strimming along the rows and around the saplings.
